Associations & conservation
Proud members of leading hunting associations — and committed to giving back.
Hunting that gives back
With 95% of our hunters coming from the US, it’s important to us to give back. New Zealand Safaris is proud to contribute an estimated $350,000 to conservation efforts in the US through various programs.
Partners we work with
At New Zealand Safaris, we believe strong partnerships are an essential part of delivering exceptional hunting experiences. We choose to work only with reputable outfitters, trusted industry professionals, and leading manufacturers of hunting equipment and firearms who share our commitment to excellence.
Our network brings together experienced, ethical hunting outfitters from around the world. While each destination offers its own unique landscapes, traditions, and game species, we are united by a common set of values — respect for wildlife, responsible hunting, outstanding client service, and a genuine passion for the outdoors.
How we work together
Trusted referral network. When our clients are looking to hunt beyond New Zealand, we connect them with carefully selected partners who meet our high standards of professionalism, ethics, and quality. Likewise, our international partners confidently refer hunters to us for authentic New Zealand hunting experiences.
Sharing knowledge and experience. We regularly exchange knowledge, ideas, and practical experience with our partners — from hunting techniques and equipment to land management, conservation practices, and client care. By learning from one another, we continually improve the experiences we provide.
A global standard of excellence. Every partner in our network is selected because they share our commitment to ethical hunting, safety, conservation, and sustainable wildlife management. Our relationships are built on trust, integrity, and a shared responsibility to protect the environments in which we hunt.
For our clients, this means access to a trusted network of professional outfitters, taxidermists, and industry-leading suppliers in New Zealand and around the world. Whether you’re hunting in New Zealand or planning your next adventure overseas, you can have confidence knowing you’ll be guided and supported by experienced professionals who place ethics, safety, conservation, and exceptional service at the heart of everything they do.

Preserving the land we hunt & game management
New Zealand is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and unspoiled natural beauty. We believe it is our responsibility, working alongside our landowners, to help protect these remarkable properties while preserving the traditional high-country way of life. Through responsible game management, we ensure hunting, farming, and land stewardship work together in harmony.
We are privileged to access tens of thousands of acres of diverse high-country terrain, from rolling hills and river valleys to rugged alpine ranges capped with snow. These landscapes are home to an abundance of native trees, shrubs, and plants, as well as many of New Zealand’s iconic bird species, including the tūī, fantail, bellbird, morepork, kererū (native wood pigeon), robin, rifleman, kārearea (New Zealand falcon), and kingfisher.
Protecting this unique ecosystem is a core part of our operation. We implement safe and responsible predator-control programs to reduce threats to native flora and fauna, helping ensure these pristine environments can be enjoyed by future generations.
Wherever possible, we use the resources the land provides to minimise our environmental footprint. Our hunting lodge features established fruit trees and a productive vegetable garden that supplies fresh seasonal produce for our guests. We also raise our own cattle and sheep, and proudly prepare the wild game harvested during each hunt, offering a true paddock-to-plate experience.
We are committed to responsible environmental practices through recycling, composting, environmentally friendly cleaning products, and reducing our reliance on single-use plastics and packaging. Our philosophy is simple: reuse, repair, and respect. Every member of our family, staff, and contractor team shares a commitment to caring for these extraordinary landscapes through responsible land management and daily stewardship.
We are proud to be 100% committed to preserving the land we hunt, the environment we live in, and the legacy we leave for future hunting generations.
