Organic Meat From Our Own Wild Back Yard
Outside of our main trophy hunting season we also offer some limited meat hunting adventures for both hunters and non hunters as part of our game management, which are also professionally guided experiences based out of Fairlie, in the South Island.
This is a great way for those that want to go out to gather organic meat from our own wild back yard.
Game Management on Private Land
We hunt our game on private land. These huge properties are working sheep and cattle operations as well as supporting many wild animals. And as part of this they not only have to be managed but also given a value, as they are taking away grasses that commercial livestock also need. This then starts a cycle of game management which we are proud to be a part of, which is unfortunately drastically lacking on government land.
From our full time All Seasons hunting lodge we can base all of our experiences out of here, hunting both meat and trophy hunts for all the South Island game, or private cabins on stations if preferred.
All our properties are privately owned & exclusive to New Zealand Safaris.
Who It Suits
This could suit a family wanting to learn more about meat hunting, general hunting skills, stalking, skinning, meat preparation, through to firearms and safety. Also hunters wanting meat for the freezer and to provide for their families, or trophy hunters that want to finally go after a mature trophy animal away from public land. We also cater for groups of hunters wanting to head away for a weekend to enjoy themselves.
What’s Included
We will put a package together based on your interest. If required we can pick you up from Christchurch, Timaru or, for additional costs, Queenstown.
Professional Guiding
Every hunt is guided. Your safety comes first, and you can be assured of professionalism throughout.
Skills & Training
Stalking, skinning and meat preparation through to firearms and safety — ideal for families and first-time hunters.
Long Range Courses
We can also provide a training day or long range course for firearms use with experienced instructors if you would like to add this.
Gear & Safety
We carry first aid and locator equipment, and our gear is of the highest professional standard. Firearms and ammunition can also be included if required.
Accommodation
Base out of our full time All Seasons Lodge, or private cabins on the stations if preferred.
Transfers
Pick-ups available from Christchurch or Timaru, and from Queenstown for an additional cost.
