Air New Zealand has just announced that from 30th November 2018 there will be 3 direct flights a week flying from Chicago O’Hare to Auckland. This will be the first ever direct link partnering with United Airlines to the Eastern side of the United States.
Air New Zealand will utilise one of the newest aircraft the 787- Dreamliner which will take approximately 15 hours to Auckland and just over 16 hours back to Chicago. The 787-Dreamliner is said to be quieter, experience less turbulence, more comfortable and spacious, and have cleaner cabin air reducing jet lag, headaches and fatigue. This should be great news for hunters looking at booking their flights with New Zealand Safaris for the coming 2019 season. It could eliminate at least one domestic flight in the United States out which will cut down on total travel time.
Combined with the already existing direct flights out of Houston, San Francisco and L.A.X the United Airlines/ Air New Zealand partnership has really created a high quality flying experience with less travel time on these newer aircraft. Air New Zealand is consistently voted one of the best airlines in the world. With New Zealand Safaris 2018 hunting seasons already in full swing we have already had great reports from our hunters about the service provided by Air New Zealand, including the genuine customer service, wine and friendly people clients have meet both onboard and in the country.
