There is only one word for New Zealand...EPIC.

~ Bear Grylls

New Zealand offers so much pristine, natural beauty. We feel that it's our job to preserve that beauty on the properties we touch in every way that we can.

We utilize thousands of acres of native bush, including a mix of lush grassy meadows and timber. This native bush is packed full of an array of trees including Kowhai, Manuka, Kanuka, Beech, Cabbage, Totara, Broadleaf, Tea trees, an assortment of native ferns and flax's, along with many more native seedlings. With so many native trees, bushes and plants it's likely you'll see native birds such as the tui, fantail, bellbird, morepork, native wood pigeon, robins, rifleman, falcon, kingfisher and many other native birds. We do practice safe predator control programs to eradicate threats to the native flora and fauna so future generations can also experience these pristine properties.

We work closely with local soil and land specialists to assess the health of the vegetation. With this information we utilize the best practices available to remove invasive species and enhance the health of the native foliage to be the best we can. Natural springs throughout many of our hunting properties provides water for plant and wildlife year round. We make a great effort to protect our waterways.

We believe in utilizing the resources from the land to minimize the overall footprint of New Zealand Safaris. The lodge property is full of fruit trees and a well established vegetable garden provide for our guests.

We strongly support full recycling and composting, use environmentally friendly cleaning products, avoid plastics and foils. We live by reuse, repair and respect

We take particular care in the daily clean up around the properties. Family, employees, and contractors are advised of our vision and environmental practices. We all work pro-actively to manage and respect our natural wilderness environment and are continually improving our environmental practices.

We are 100% committed to preserving the land in which we hunt and live.
