From airport to mountain tops we will pick you up from the airport, and provide transportation back to our lodge where your South Island Adventure continues.

Day 1
Your South Island adventure begins when we personally pick you up from the airport and drive you back to the lodge in Fairlie. Once settled we'll serve lunch or afternoon tea and head out for a station 4x4 drive in the area taking in some spectacular scenery. And maybe some wild deer and tahr. Back to the lodge in evening for cocktails and drinks before dinner is served made from local products before retiring for the evening.
Day 2
Cooked breakfast before we begin the adventure. This time heading past the big glacial lakes of Mackenzie Country we head up a river valley at the mountains tower above, on an iconic merino and Angus station. This is fun for all as we cross the braided rivers and make our way up stopping at a few private cabins for morning tea and relaxing taking some great photos and maybe a short walk up a stream spotting a tahr or two and some red deer. We will continue up to stop beneath glaciers and the main divide for lunch before making our way back down the valley and out around the lower country for a look on the working station. Back to the lodge that evening for cocktails and drinks before dinner is served made from local products before retiring for the evening.
Day 3
Cooked breakfast before leisurely packing up the truck and heading slowly back to the airport, stopping a few well known scenery spots and a little shopping in the local villages on the way.

Day 1

Stopping on a ridge Jim will set up an electronic clay bird machine where he will teach you how to safely take aim to try something new. Before heading back to the lodge in evening for cocktails and drinks before dinner is served made from local products before retiring for the evening.
Day 2
Cooked breakfast early morning start before we begin where this time we load up the three seater 4x4 Can Am and head down the road to privately owned station that lies between the lakes, we load up the side by side for the morning and hit the mountain road traveling high up onto the tops where the views from 360 degrees seeing as far as the eye can see and second to none, a great spot for lunch. While traveling we stop and glass with binoculars provided for wild animals and give you time to take some memorable photos. Back down we come around another small track suited to this safe and adventures 4x4 the fun doesn't stop on a ride you are sure to enjoy. A look around the merino stud we pack up and head to the local village for some unique shopping and maybe a cocktail before heading back to the lodge for drinks and dinner.
Day 3
Cooked breakfast with a leisurely start we head this time on a road trip up to Mt Cook for a morning tea and to take in the sights, for those that would like to stretch the legs we can go for a short hike up one of the famous trails on the glacial lakes. Back down the valley we go on a farm tour with a difference where you will be entertained by one of the most well known characters in the district this will be one you will never forget, a little back road driving beneath the towering peaks and expansive Mackenzie country before we arrive at Tekapo hot springs where you will be left to unwind by yourself before returning that evening to the lodge to settle in to a drink and enjoy a find cooked dinner and dessert.

Cooked breakfast before leisurely packing up the truck and heading slowly back to the airport, stopping a few well known scenery spots and a little shopping in the local villages along the way.

Your South Island adventure begins when we personally pick you up from the airport and drive you back to the lodge in Fairlie while stopping at places of your choice or use our local knowledge to have a look around these neat little villages down South, from there get you settled we'll serve lunch or afternoon tea and head out for a station 4x4 drive in the area taking in some spectacular scenery. Maybe stop off at the lake or up on a ridge with a bottle of wine to take in the scenery and capture some amazing views with your camera.
Day 2
Cooked breakfast before we begin the adventure this time headed over 2 passes on back country roads to end up in the village of Kurow to start a day of wine tasting at the local vineyards, what a place for lunch. We then head back later in the day with the option of taking the Mackenzie country tour back taking the ocean road to Waimate for one last tasting before a short drive back to the lodge that evening for drinks before dinner is served made from local products and retiring for the evening.
Day 3
